What scheuri likes about Yu:
After a long time not bein in the Kursaal my wife and I decided to treat ourselves and got the Asian buffet at Yu in the Kursaalhotel in Bern. The food was simply delicious, there was plenty to choose from and to try (entree, main course as well as an amazing dessert area). What Dario R doesn't like about Yu:
The Kursaal Bern is a slick Hotel, Convention and Casino Operation. Unfortunately the Yu Asian Restaurant does not come near of being Asian. The decor is very in vogue but the Food is close to beeing very bad! If you want to spoil your palate with a bit of culinary flair, this is the place to be: The original Asian fusion cuisine of the Yu from Bern - a delicious combination of proven and the unexpected, on the menu there are also a lot of Asian menus. A lot of fresh vegetables, fish and meat is used in the easily digestible Japanese cuisine of Yu, Here, Thai dishes are prepared with the popular spices and (fish-) sauces.
