"Let's talk food. This place should be a staple that every foodie goes and tries to eat at They should charge more. For some reason they d Don't I would have assumed that the turkey sandwich I ate on homemade bread made penguins fly again. We went for lunch but we stayed for dinner. That's how insane the food was. The food is no joke. The people that cook it mean it. It's the most meaningful food I've had in 22 countries. We've spent the last 5 days telling people to go to this place. Place that makes the food that Anthony Bourdain would call meaningful food. Please don't take my awful photos as the way the food tasted. The sous vide turkey sandwich on homemade bread was The best thing I've ever eaten The Waygu burger was heaven. It melted and showed it's feathers in a gorgeous peacock dance."

"I am shocked at the high reviews on this place. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life and I’ve eaten lots of barbecue and this is the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered a 3 meat plate with moist brisket, ribs sausage and pinto beans and hatch mac cheese as our sides. The brisket was the furthest thing from moist. It had the texture of beef jerky and I guess the big chunk of fat on it was supposed to qualify it as moist? Huge missed mark on this. The ribs were decent, nothing special but the most edible thing on the plate. The sausage was horrible. It had zero smokiness and tasted like boiled hot dogs. We wanted creamy corn casserole and sweet garlic green beans. They were out of both. We ended up with the “mac cheese” which I put in quotes because it was literally dry gummy noodles (pic included). We threw it in the trash. Worst mac and cheese I’ve ever had. The beans weren’t terrible, just pinto beans with some pieces of brisket way too much pepper and no other flavor profile. I think the low point was the bbq sauce. I gagged when I tasted it. Cumin and chili powder does not belong in bbq sauce. That was nauseating. The highlight of this place is the setting. Super cute there and they had a band so atmosphere is 5/5 and food is 0/5. I would give .5 for the pickles because they were the best thing we ate."

"Oh wow! This is a diamond in the rough. Gourmet Italian that goes far beyond the typical pastas. We had the New Zealand Rack of Lamb, Salmon a la Vodka, and a side of potatoes, and it was all perfectly cooked and soooo good! Even the included mixed veggies were perfectly cooked so they were soft yet crisp and perfectly seasoned. We brought our own wine to complete the meal as its BYOW. Service was great! And we loved it so much we came back the next evening for take-out of filet mignon and chicken roulle, both delicious and perfectly cooked. We'll come visit Bertram again just to have dinner here. What a special hidden gem!"
