"We arrived at 6pm on the 16th Dec, as soon as we walked in there was a group of young lads in drunk and swearing and it was disgusting, this would have never happened Margaret owned it! I was so so scared this shouldn’t have happened, totally fight and a guy getting kicked on the head!!! Absolutely disgusting, I will never bring my family back into this pub again!! "We loved it in here.Great place, friendly service and superb food. Quite busy when we were in, which gave it a great atmosphere. Located on the cobbled main street.Really enjoyed the food, as it was fresh and tasty and it felt like we were in the Mediterranean!We would highly recommend a visit and definitely eat there. The rose wine was gorgeous too"

"We came as a party of 10 and the lady who approached us was nothing short of fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to help us. We ordered chips and onion rings for the table these were piping hot, proper chunky chips with real battered onion rings, very tasty. Prices were some of the best I've seen in a pub recently. A proper old style boozer with a decent welcome to boot. Would happily recommend to anyone visiting the area."
