What GranZorro likes about La Plancha:
Simple decor, wooden tables, lots of diners enjoying themselves. So they must be doing something well. We had the hot plates both a meat and a fish one, and were not disappointed. Friendly service, decent prices. View all feedback.
What Jonathan F doesn't like about La Plancha:
It's not very difficult to do reasonable steak and chips and they do OK, although home made chips doesn't mean they are not soggy and greasy. My main gripe is the mark up on the house wine which is outrageous. Selling vin de pays at 20 euros a litre when the poor old producers are lucky if they get 2 euros is not acceptable. The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat and drink in nice weather, and there's a counter where you can sit and taste. The guest room invites you to linger and extensively eat, and for the littlest guests, there is a high chair.
