"OMG this food is some of the more consistently delicious soul food in Bessemer or Birmingham. This plate is some of the best of everything pictured that I've ever tasted. The food is hot which is important to me. Staff is always professional. And the place is always clean."

"Excellent food. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and it was pretty standard but my husband ordered a beef chimichanga and it was shredded beef and really really yummy, almost like birds taco meat. Our waiter was incredible. Was watching us in order to come over to the table at just the right times to refill or take plates.
