2Nice2Believe. I was broke down, and just plain broke. I was forced to walk from OKC to west of Yukon overnight in 45 degree weather. I passed by Route 66 Donuts at exactly 5 am, I know this because I saw them turn their OPEN sign on. I did something I have never done before, I went in and begged for a cup of coffee. I explained my situation and offered to leave my driver's license, promising to return later and pay for the coffee. I was told not to worry about the ID, and was brewed a fresh cup of coffee.
