Excellent service. Very attentive. Food is great. Philly steak omelet is my go to here. Monte Cristo french toast is flavorful. Plain french toast is also great. They were always there to refill our coffee when we were low. Our waitress was very friendly. Portions are big so bring an appetite. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Stony Hill Diner:
On my first visit, I ordered a meatball grinder to go. After getting home I opened it find the bottom of the grinder was completely charred and a layer of the bread was stuck to the aluminum pan. Because I live far away I asked for a refund, and understanding they would want proof offered to email/text pictures but they insisted I bring the food back in which was impossible for me. "For 7 years, the search for good and authentic Japanese food has been a mission. Most places I look at the menu and that's enough for me, it doesn't resemble Japanese food. Until I drove past this place. The name was giving away because it had no generic Japanese name, and further research taught me that this place was Japanese property. The first thing I noticed when entering was that here Japanese eat, a good sign for me. The waiter Shun-San is a local in Tokyo and it was a good opportunity to speak some Japanese. The menu was decent and the sushi wasn't too bad. The Tempura was fantastic. I would say it is something adapted for the local range, but if I want Japanese food, this is where I go to my fix, and it is the only place you should go also if you want to go near authentic Japanese foods. I didn't try the ramen dishes that I'm gonna be next time, and they've also been for heaven's sake."

"The BEES were out of control.. The biggest problem was that we ordered 3 items and after watching numerous tables come in, eat, pay and leave our food still didnt arrive. So we asked.. the food finally arrived and it was ice cold, hard as a rock and the cheese sauce for the pretzel had a layer of hard cheese on top of it. The waffles were burnt and what we got told was there was a miss fire in the kitchen. They offered to make the food for us to take home but after sitting there over an hour swinging at bees so as not to be stung.. we gladly said no. Very disappointed in the entire service"
