"The place was quite disappointing.we came with high expectations and the results were not great. The only impeccable thing about the meal was the bread and tomato soup which was great. We ordered their special fillet Steak, which they insisted on only serving rare. We asked for MR and got it MW. When we pointed that out, they blamed us for asking a higher cooking level. instead of the steak we ordered a stew on mashed potatoes. The stew was nice, but the mashed potatoes were almost liquid. The tiramisu was nice but not perfect and the pasta was nice."

"An absolutely fantastic dining experience. Each dish had something special in their flavors that really elevated the dishes. The tartare with pecorino cream was amazing, we also enjoyed the eggplant parmesan. We let the waiter help us with the entrees and wine selection and he did an excellent job. We also really enjoyed the desserts. The tiramisu was a unique twist that was really good and the chocolate cake was beautiful to see and delicious to eat. The location really felt like you were being transported back in time. It's no wonder this place has a wall of awards, they are well deserved!"

"We have eaten here three times whilst staying in Castiglion including both lunch and dinner servings. The food is fabulous and the staff were exceptionally welcoming. The steaks are simply to die for fabulous as a showpiece and equally as tasty cooked to perfection. The team were attentive and looked after us in every way initially we dined as a large group, then as a couple then as a family and each tome the service was excellent. Don't visit Castiglion Fiorentino and miss this place. it was recommended to us by our villa owner and did not dissapoint."
