What Linda Prudence likes about The Gwydyr:
Staff friendly and very helpful. Food good but bar closed early due to out of season I presume and not so many customers. Had a problem with our room, but quickly sorted and moved. The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat in pleasant weather, and there is no-charge WLAN. The rooms on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for customers with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

"First time visiting after hearing good things, came in to a mostly chilled cafe around 12pm on 02/04/22 and noticed as we walked in a sign “wait to be seated” there was loads of tables empty and no one looked hugely busy but the cashier...had a few guest, the waitress on didn’t make eye contact once on the multiple times she walked past, a simple “hey take a seat” or “I’ll just be a few minutes sorry” would of been enough busy instead she just completed blanked us and left us standing there. After 10 minutes, we were trying to be polite initially we just left. We only waited due to the sign saying wait to be seated so if this isn’t the case remove the sign or inform the waitress to tell new guests to seat them selves. It’s a shame as I’ve heard so many good things about the food but this level of customer service is appalling"

"Rude and snippy staff who’s mood seemed to change depending on who he was talking to. Snapped and sighed at when choosing my food, dispute there being no one behind me waiting. My LO asked a different staff member a question (very politely) and was told “at the front”. Quality of food extremely disappointing and apparently depends on the day (was here a few days ago and it was quite nice) today everything was dumped on the plate. Other customers were given garnish. May be you have to be a local to be looked after??.."

"Visits with a friend. Coffee was lovely but the staff were very unprofessional. A member of staff was discussing something personal in a very loud manor. The shop had ourselves and two other parties in there was we all made eye contact as we couldn't believe it. It was also quite chilly. Not half as good as the one in llandudno town. I wont be coming back."
