A group of friends reunited after 50 years for a pleasant lunch at a smart restaurant with friendly service and delicious starters, although portions were a bit small. Another couple, celebrating their wedding anniversary, found the food to be average and the service lacking in friendliness and promptness. Despite living nearby for 23 years, they were disappointed with the experience. On the other hand, a pair of friends had a fantastic afternoon tea with delicious food and attentive service, feeling safe and well taken care of. A separate group enjoyed a great afternoon tea and praised the attentive waiter and lovely terrace setting. A Sunday lunch experience was marred by slow service in getting sides, but the food was well cooked and the venue was clean. Overall, the restaurant has had ups and downs over the years, but recent experiences indicate a positive trend with delicious food and attentive staff making for enjoyable dining experiences, on average, the rating for Greens Restaurant at Wharton Park Golf Club is 3.9.
