not the cheapest place, but rather, the fish and the chips are divine. the teig is light and fluffy, very fresh fish and the chips are boiled to perfection.

great fish chips. had squid and cod and both were delicious. chips are also really good portions are very generous.

they call the order by so no waiting for the collection. eating was nice, a large part of the chips was enough for all of us!

"It was fairly quiet and not terribly busy which is a shame as the food and service deserve to be experienced by lots of people. Wonderfully flavoursome curries with the special touch of Gurkha spices. Previous reviews have mentioned the need to look beyond the frontage, please do, the culinary experience is excellent. "I booked it for my birthday, had drinks and a shader in the courtyard and head inside. the food was delicious and the whole staff was very nice and very courteous. would definitely recommend lunch or dinner."

"We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious, lovely sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes. The cakes were proper sliced cakes and not the silly little taster cakes you can sometimes get. A lovely warm welcome from all the staff and we were given a box to take home what we couldn't eat. The best high tea we have ever had. We will definitely be going back again."

"Wow amazing. armed and was supervised by rachael. she explained everything and helped with many asking about intolerances [not me]. the owner/Koch colin even offered at 24 hours, he can change recipes to accommodate certain intolerances. fantastic. ordered half of nachos with chili, beautiful and huge I did my best. the chicken wings were also ordered and were divine. then the main course. crab and cod burger and a half rippchen. again beautiful. the staff cannot be very friendly, attentive and helpful mistakes. excellent food and a good price. atmosphere and music great. the only part of this restaurant is that it is not on the Wirral.! lucky hailsham. good luck for all of you. I'm back. x"
