"I invited my family to the restaurant to celebrate my PhD defense. The location and atmosphere are nice, all the rest is truly terrible. I am allergic to milk and eggs. I thus asked if it is possible to have a dish that I could eat, as is the most normal thing in 2017. Apparently to keep the traditional atmosphere, also the rest did not evolve. It seemed that the chef felt offended by my needs, as if I was questioning his recipes. Besides this, the overall food quality is average but prices are like a five star restaurant. Vegetarian options are really limited, and avoid the desserts: for a couple of minuscule chocolate balls we paid like a main course. There are so many cheaper, less arrogant, friendly and traditional alternatives in Zurich..."

"I enjoyed the spring as well as the Summer 9 course Menue Harmonie at the Pavillon. Both were equally excellent. The quality of the dishes, the presentation, the explanations, the service were all equally excellent. The wine accompaniment, you get to choose between a Swiss and an international selection, was also spot on. One can't go wrong having dinner at the Pavillon., it is well worth the 2 Michelin Stars."
