Within the category Cafés, this place is considered one of the best in Bienenbuettel, and so far, the Bistro Cafe Am Waldbad Inh. Birgit Bothe has received mixed criticisms.

Too much of the frituse. Would have expected fresher food. TK stuff. And the equipment is more reminiscent of the old millennium.
Not as beautiful as before and close by shortly after half five! While the bathroom is still open! Sad.... real... expensive and not tasty...

"We were here to drink coffee and got a place outside. Not only the service is nice and attentive, there was nothing to expose even on coffee, cake and ice cream. We'll be back."

"Delicious food. You can tell the burgers are meant to be a craft not just a regular joe. Visiting from USA so wish this were back home. Our waitress was concerned about her English but we thought it was perfect and she was rather nice."

"Am Salatbuffet muss man was machen. Einfallslos und kulinarisch kein Hochgenuss. Das Hauptgericht war lecker und frisch. Netter , freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service . An der Einrichtung könnte man auch was machen. Die Fensterbänke sind mit Blumen völlig überladen."
