"OMG! I haven 't done a review in years but just had to for this place. The amin courses were delicious but quite similar to other restaurants in the region but the starter, called Picana, and only found in this area of the Pyrenees (apparently) was amazing. It was kinda like jamon Iberico but beef and not salted during the aging process; served on the most wonderful, perfectly suited toasted bread, with a thin layer of tomato concassé and olive oil drizzled on top. Worth driving miles for. They had a different starter called 'cecina ' which seemed wonderful and quite similar but we didn 't try it. Should have done. The owner and waiter didn 't speak any English or French but were extremely patient with my efforts in Spanish. Obviously they love their food."
