"The only reason it even got any stars was because the kids meals were good and the waitress was very nice. The flautas were disgusting though and when my husband told the guy who looked and acted like the manager I didn't like them he just took them and left without a word and never came back to our table. No let me get you something else, no offer to remove them from the bill even though I only are 1 bite barely. Will not be going back"

"Big Bear does not have many vegan options, so we were very happy to find the Himalayan. The food was delicious! We had the garbanzo beans and the daal, both fairly spicy (we asked for 7 out of 10 and it was perfect), and they were both excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and was able to tell us which items were vegan, which was more than half of the fairly extensive vegetarian menu. We will be back next time we're in Big Bear!"

"The best thing you can bring your NICE dog. No barking or jumping allowed. Three strike policy. Our dogs love eating with us! Big portions. My grilled cheese was really good. Prices are adjusted to the region and this is a tourist destination. The owner brought kids at tables some ghost puzzle games and asked them to finish them. It was nice to see. The beer garden is directly on the highway, there are several different types of beer on tap and mimosa flights in the morning. We had three different live bands during the day. It is small inside but very cozy and the outside is ok. Just loud with the cars."
