"My wife and I were here for a night during our stay with the middle of oktober. sitting in the fluid bed and watching that the leaves fall into the water and drift away was absolutely dreamed and I would recommend enjoying the rest, even if they don't plan to stay at night. eating in the restaurant was very good, but I would probably skip the muddy cocktails and go with something else. I think they can also buy goodies from the nearby main business to get to the water. the staff was very friendly and helpful. our only real complaining was the bed. it was extremely unpleasant to the point where I moved to the floor in the middle of the night, because my back was so badly hurt. for reference we stayed in room 1 opposite the restaurant and the beds of other rooms can be better. the room itself was small but charming and had a great swing bench and table in a covered veranda in front of the room. the room was over at night and cool in the morning and there was a fair amount of street noise from the highway 1, but we quickly voted it off. we received an end of summer gift bag with our booking that came with a deck, a big sur cookbook, brand coffee cups, water bottle, postcard, stickers and cards playing. very nice touch, because the deck at the river could come practically. tldr: beautiful scenery and tasty eating, but the bed was painful and delicate sleepers want to stay somewhere else."

"No. First off this is not a smoke house. This was more like a school cafeteria on bbq day.... If that. This was gross. The brisket had an iridescent sheen to it..... like lunch meat. I'm pretty sure it was lunch meat with sauce. The sides all were all lousy and it wasn't worth 10....let alone the 70 it cost for two meals. Such a disappointment! Really great space wasted."

"Amazing views and reasonably good food without waiting time, unlike the famous Nepenthe above. The views are actually quite similar, so it is a decent compromise, as you only lose the number of food and beverage options for the 30-45-minute waiting period. All sandwiches are large and come with a salad that is pretty. You also have beautiful muffins, cookies, a breakfast menu and friendly staff. The toilet is at the bottom of the gift shop."

"We got married at The Post Ranch Inn, and it was an unforgettable experience. Staying in the Post House, we were given the choice of where to hold the ceremony. Once we laid eyes on the view from the house, we instantly knew it was the perfect spot. The breathtaking view added a magical touch to our special day. The restaurant was incredible my husband is a very picky vegan and he loved the food there, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was the perfect way for us to start our lives together. We're certain we'll be returning, as it now holds a cherished place in our hearts.Walkability: Beautiful hiking areas all aroundFood drinks: Hotel room service was amazing and the restaurant was top notch not only was the view incredible but the food was delicious."
