"My wife and I were here for a night during our stay with the middle of oktober. sitting in the fluid bed and watching that the leaves fall into the water and drift away was absolutely dreamed and I would recommend enjoying the rest, even if they don't plan to stay at night. eating in the restaurant was very good, but I would probably skip the muddy cocktails and go with something else. I think they can also buy goodies from the nearby main business to get to the water. the staff was very friendly and helpful. our only real complaining was the bed. it was extremely unpleasant to the point where I moved to the floor in the middle of the night, because my back was so badly hurt. for reference we stayed in room 1 opposite the restaurant and the beds of other rooms can be better. the room itself was small but charming and had a great swing bench and table in a covered veranda in front of the room. the room was over at night and cool in the morning and there was a fair amount of street noise from the highway 1, but we quickly voted it off. we received an end of summer gift bag with our booking that came with a deck, a big sur cookbook, brand coffee cups, water bottle, postcard, stickers and cards playing. very nice touch, because the deck at the river could come practically. tldr: beautiful scenery and tasty eating, but the bed was painful and delicate sleepers want to stay somewhere else."
