that was our second time to feed in this facility. (see first review) we decided to visit again and try something else from the menu. our server, laura, was outstanding. the two servers we had in this restaurant were polite, patient and really interested in their relaxation and meal. laura recommended the corresponding wee pairing and gave us a lot of time to enjoy every cure without rushing. the duck and the salmon... What fred soroudi doesn't like about Schafer's:
This was one of my favorite restaurants when in woodsbay Today we decided to try their new location. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. My pan seared chicken was an 1/8 chicken breast with a wing drumstick attached. Flavor was ok till I bit into a piece of raw chicken. Half the chicken was uncooked. My wife did not finish her dinner either. View all feedback.
Good food, definitely casual fine dining . The atmosphere is not too snooty and is family friendly. We took our 1 year old and the high chair was clean and good quality. It was not even half occupied when we arrived one late morning. Friendly patrons and even friendlier servers. Shout out to Bradley, our server, who was helping out multiple tables with the assistance of only one other server. My husband, our baby, and I shared a cup of the soup du jour (not pictured), which was an Indian-inspired soup. It was delicious and aromatic. The cup was also more generous than I expected. We also shared the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Naan. It was creamy, cheesy, ooey, gooey, and definitely something we could make at home. It was surprisingly not bland! It was absolutely delicious. However, there were some tough artichoke skins that I had to spit out. I would definitely go here again, but only for drinks and maybe share another appetizer. Their after dinner drinks and specialty cocktails stood out to me on the menu. Kid-friendliness: Clean and sturdy high chairs available
Love this place usually the grill is great but forcing a full dinner menu into toe bar ruined the experience. Sometimes you just want a sandwich and a beer and not a big dinner.
Fine dining in a public restaurant on a private golf course. Excellent, atmosphere and service and moderate prices. The three mushroom soup was phenomenal. As was the halibut. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
Fabulous! We had eaten at the old Location but this was really lovely. Service was wonderful and food was superior.
Ate dinner in bar area. Beautiful decor. Excellent, attentive server. Food was exceptional.
