"You wonder where the clientele come from, but I guess it is worth the travel because it is very good.Small premises but it seems with lots of regular customers.Very efficient service with just the right degree of polite friendliness. We felt welcomed, but not stifled.Knowledgeable about food and wine too as one might expect for a restaurant with its reputation. Good English spoken, so no fears about being understood. We had the tasting menu. It turned out to be a very good choice Each course was so light and perfectly cooked and delivered at intervals that allowed time to appreciate, digest and anticipate the next one with portions small, but adequate. The sauces as ingredients were the most impressive, the perfect accompaniment to each dish, I could rhapsodise about them, it is what one expects from a French restaurant. If I had one piece of advice, don't go for the wines accompanying with the tasting menu, they were Ok but the quality of the food demanded something superior to match its standard; choose instead two half bottles from the good wine list, it will not be much more expensive and worth the extra."
