"My first time in a vegan restaurant and I loved it! I recommend it anyway, both vegan and carnivores alike, as eating is fantastic! we were so happy that the next day we went back to lunch. it is great to choose the entire menu for once."

"Bara Vara is a really nice place with a cozy laid back feeling around it. Hanging in the bar makes you feel good and gives you the chance to meet a lot of nice people. The food was however not very impressive at this visit. All plates were a bit cold when served and compared to the price it didn’t really give value for money. Maybe it was a stressful Saturday but as a customer I would expect more."

"Hip, great beer, the ramen could've been better. The personnel at Barski was great. Welcoming, knowledgeable and admitted when their knowledge fell short. Honesty is always appreciated. Me and my date both ordered the vegan ramen. The noodles were fantastic and the toppings shiitake mushrooms (I think), some kind of minced mushroom in a marinade, some fresh greens and an edible flower that tasted tangy and sweet were tasty and interesting. The broth, though, fell short. There was a lot of spice in it but not much depth. The soup just kind of hit you in the face and didn't really leave a lasting impression. Overall we liked the place, though, and will probably visit again in a couple of months and see how the ingredients have changed with the season. We're also excited to try the vegan dumplings next time."
