"I always try to write reviews thoughtfully and honestly so that readers might have a genuine point of view regarding a restaurant they discover "on-line" and might be considering. So, if you visit Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica, I hope you find this review to be accurate and helpful. My wife and I found Pizzeria La Romantica to be a very warm and pleasant experience. In the best good restaurant tradition, our experience was an exceptional one. Not only were we invited to dine, but we were encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica. When did this last happened to you?The restaurant is located up a side street just off the main street, which runs along the Rhine River. We were actually looking for a German restaurant when we found this one. We were on a Rhine River Cruise and were docked not far away. Because a very heavy rain had flooded much of Rudesheim, many stores and restaurants had simply closed.Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica was a surprise find while we were wandering around Rudesheim looking for the German restaurant. After looking at the restaurant menu, as we always do, my wife and I decided we had found our dining spot for the evening. And . . . what a special find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very warm warm and helpful. In my opinion, you do yourself a great service by finding and enjoying and meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica if you are in Rudesheim. I wish you the same experience my wife and I were very pleased to enjoy. If you have time, call or stop by and make a reservation. Introduce yourself and say that you were referred. Also, smile and be pleasant. Warmth goes a long way . . . everywhere."

"We stayed with 4 people in the Yellow House, which is beautifully located in the old town of Eltville. The house is an old building from the 17th century. Century, beautifully renovated and offers a nice backdrop. Largest trump is surely the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards on the Rhine. Here you can also sit comfortably outside if the weather doesn't play like that. The wine is good (recommendation: the semi-dry Riesling selection Yellow house but this is also expected in the Rheingau. The food (rieslingsüppchen, grillsteak or pigs Lende and salmon were qualitatively absolutely fine, but without special subtleties in performance and taste. The price performance ratio is fine, but I would like to consider the food as an average. It was annoying, however, that in the late afternoon we had reserved the table for the evening, so to speak, under the butt. On our question whether we will be thrown out, the service explained that would be so .I don't just think to ask if you still stay or if the table is available from the time in question, would surely be more friendly in the classical sense. Conclusion: A nice location to sit outside with beautiful views and one or more glasses of wine. In order to eat, we would no longer visit the Yellow House."

"We had a special event dinner at the burg klopp and I was very impressed. we went up from the NH hotel and the ascent to the castle almost killed some of the party. They served gluh wine on the (very cold)...terrace with views over the city and then an excellent 3-course buffet. that was not the standard service, as the company has booked the whole restaurant, but I was impressed by eating. I am a fisherman and the offered options were excellent. acoustic it is painful to be in a room with 80 people who speak at once, but that is to be expected. it is a beautiful old building with fantastic view."
