Low-key and awesome!. Tried Giuseppe's for the first time tonight. The cheese bread was more than a decent serving for the price and was really good (loved the fact that they gave enough marinara for it). I got the chicken, prosciutto, and basil penne with alfredo and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the chef's calzone and loved it. We both had enough leftovers for another meal each. What I doesn't like about Giuseppe's Cafe:
I had an order of sautéed mushrooms which were amazing, the only problem was the calzone I ordered as my main dish. I ordered a 4 cheese calzone with pepperoni. All the ingredients tasted like they came from Walmart and the dough tasted like pillsbury pizza dough. They put the sauce on the inside which wasn’t the norm to me, it would have been somewhat fine if the sauce didn’t taste sour. The server was very nice tho... read more.
