The food in the south of Birmingham is as authentic as a South Grill item as I have ever experienced, and I have experienced some. I ordered a combination plate of drawn pigs and sausages was overwhelmed with the texture and taste of each. Miss Myra’s was really, really good! As soon as you walk in and smell the smoke you can tell that it’s legit bbq. The sides we got were excellent, particularly the green beans, and the pulled pork sandwich was delicious. This is a typical local's BBQ joint. Don't expect there to be frills and fancy place settings they focus on the food. Don't skip the banana pudding!
