Il Lago is easily the best restaurant on the edge of Norwest Lake.
I dinned 5 times here so far. They have managed to keep the high standard. A good place for biz functions.
Although i think this place is just a tad overpriced i do rate the foodI would give 4.5 stars if i could.

"Can't beat the prices. I had the baby back ribs and they were exactly as described fall off the bone tender. My husband had the sirloin and grilled shrimp. He said the shrimp was fantastic. The sirloin was seasoned nicely but was a bit on the chewy side. The kitchen has no control over something like that. Our server was very attentive. If you can make a reservation I would recommend you do so. It was a Friday evening and the first weekend of football season so we did not have to wait. We will definitely be going back"

"It is a verge of city life and traffic. If you want a honeymoon or a jubilee, this is the place for couples. family-friendly also. it's a long journey. but it is worth every mile to get there. reservations recommended. great for special occasions. capacity is small, but dizzy. they also make the tour. we just went to breakfast. not recommended for alcoholics at the recovery. attempts of alcohol. if you know what I mean. please drink them responsibly. Don't drink them and drive them. eat is great. only recommend couples."

"Local little favorite of mine. The poblano burger is really good. Enjoyed the salmon too. I don't like the rice they serve with it though.. will try and substitute for something else like salad or veggies. Cool creek behind the restaurant."

"This was the third time in 3 weeks every time was exceptional bbq ! The brisket was perfectly smoked moist and flavorful The ribs were very meaty, fall off the bone perfect. The sides were potato salad, coleslaw and beans were on point.I was also impressed with the amount of food served with each plate. We highly recommend can’t wait for next weekend, hell maybe tomorrow!"
