love both surin locations. I never had a bad eating or experience while I was feeding here. the pad see u is one of my favorite dishes in the B’ham area, and my wife enjoyed half the fried rice with the delicious roasted rice. Also, not shown is her coconut curry soup just because it is so dang good, I have beaten everything down before I thought to take a photo. they will not be disappointed! View all feedback.
What Tokyo Blues Man doesn't like about Surin 280:
They have really good Thai curry at this restaurant. All of them are good. Their curry has good flavor and they’ll make it however hot/spicy you want. But their Sushi is not so good. They pack nigiri sushi (rice) too hard and it’s almost like a brick. I do not recommend sushi here at all. They also have pretty good selection of appetizers as well. View all feedback.
This was my first time in Surin 280 and everything my friend and I ordered was delicious! We had the basil rolls, dimming, Thai noodle (educated), and Wing of Angel (educated). The staff was friendly and the drinks were strong. I recommend it.
One of my favorite restaurants in Birmingham. The menu items are always fresh. My favorite is the spicy beef salad I had at lunch yesterday. It is a filling without feeling too hard. I love their Thai tea. The service is always good what brings me back.
Love both surin locations. Never had a bad meal or experience in eating here. The Pad Lake U is one of my favorite dishes in the B?ham area, and my wife enjoyed half the chicken with the delicious roasted rice. Part of the Surin of Thailand family with multiple locations in Atlanta and Birmingham. Reliably good food, especially the Spicy Beef Salad and Pad See U/Ew!
Surin is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant, and honestly my favorite restaurant period. Their coconut tofu soup would absolutely be my last meal of choice. The downtown location is overall a bit better than 280, but 280's volcano pots of soup give it an edge for me.
