We needed something fairly quick but not junk food, at 6pm. Byzantium was perfect. Their range of meat, fish and vegetable tapas dishes for £6-£9 each is served in a pleasantly authentic restaurant in Kings Heath within walking distance of the pay and display car park. We didn't reserve, but I should think it's a good idea later in the evening. Will come back here for a proper meal. View all feedback.

We were really disappointed with our visit to Byzantium. The service was absolutely appalling and almost non-existent. We waited at least 15 minutes after sitting down to order a drink, the staff were hardly ever in the restaurant felt like they were just sat in the kitchen. The local has an area where one can enjoy at tables, and there's a counter where you can sit down and enjoy. If the weather are right, you can also eat outside, and for the littlest guests, there is a baby high chair.
