We tried the Tonkotsu ramen and chicken curry udon noodles at this restaurant and both were delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend this place and plan on returning in the future. View all feedback.
What Rosie Moore doesn't like about Mount Fuji Bento:
Awesome place for sushi! I tried their bentos, prawn tempura, miso soup, and different types of sushi. The restaurant is a bit small and i find it sometimes hard to move when there are other people moving around also. Staff are really friendly. This place is one of my favourites in birmingham. Some times i would go to the city center just for it! View all feedback.
The best Japanese food I ever tasted! The Miso soup was so authentic and was the best I ever had, the ravens were perfect and the Gyoza in it is from this world! The sushi was also fantastic, the staff was also friendly and friendly throughout our stay. So glad I'm here
The staff at this restaurant are wonderful. I ordered takeout and requested that my food be delivered to me outside so I could enjoy it on the wooden benches across the street. The restaurant is tucked away down a ramp behind the Bullring near the Church. Not being very familiar with Japanese cuisine, I had many questions which the staff were happy to answer. They were very accommodating and friendly. I even grabbed a loyalty card, as I plan on returning in the future. They also have a small selection of Japanese spices and snacks that you might not find in a regular supermarket.
A real gem of a place. It's a rare find, such a lovely spot so close to the bullring that isn't all flash. This place has real heart, and that makes the food so much better. We had the soft shell crab sushi roll (Spider roll) Teriyaki Salmon Bento, and Tonkotsu Ramen. Each dish was amazing, and a big portion for the price, we split everything between two but it was easily too much for us, though we wished we could eat more. The tonkotsu comes with 2 fried gyoza eat them first so the soup doesn't make them too soggy. On that note, I haven't had Tonkotsu this good for a long time I highly recommend it, particularly if you've had a bad day this is a soup that heals the soul. The staff were helpful, attentive and always had a smile despite being busy. I recommend sitting at the bar facing the window. It's nice to people watch, and you can see Selfridges and the Clock tower, a nice little spot. Yup, we'll be back for sure.
Absolutely loved my first time here yesterday! Great service and good food. Will definitely be back again soon
This Japanese-style restaurant is excellent, small, and cozy. The menu offers some nice options and a good selection. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The ramen dishes are particularly good, and the Bento boxes come in various varieties. The prices are reasonable for the location, with an average cost of £15-20 per person. This restaurant is a great choice for a lunch break or after work, especially if you want to take your time and explore all the menu options.
