Lovely weekend going to a wedding in Birmingham. Hotel very accomodating and friendly. Reserved a table in the bar for 10 of us. Decor a bit faded but I guess that's why it's rated 3 star not 4 View all feedback.
What Christian T doesn't like about Tolkien:
Breakfast here was fine, big portions and well cooked. Dinner was far worse. The steak served here was dry and very overdone, I was expecting a lot more for £30 price tag! I myself had a pizza which was average. The food took a very long time to be served even though the restaurant was almost empty and the staff were sub par, it was a disappointing experience for us having read good reviews for the place.
