Great restaurant/tea room We ate very well there: the dishes were delicious and very generous. And what’s more, the service is great!

"Called into Spinners on Evening of 27th December. We were made to feel very welcome. Had a table in baq dining area. Lovely selection on dinner menu. No Jack Daniel's but did not spoil the evening. We ordered the Duck and Steak. Both dishes were cooked perfect. Good portions. Lovely side dishes of cauliflower and Cheese. Lovely apricot stuffing with the duck. For dessert we orded the chocolate fondant it was gorgeous and baked Alaska. Both went down v well. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal. Praise to the two ladies who were working quietly and efficiently. . All in all a lovely evening to finish our Christmas holiday in Birr. Will return in Summer when back on holidays."

"We arrived and Donna introduced herself and welcomed us..I had the beef and my husband had the lamb cutlets and the niece had chicken curry all delicious . Waffles and Nutella and ice cream for afters. Compliments to the chef. Got chatting with a member of staff called Tommy real nice man and full of the chat and craic... Value for money excellent. Highly recommend the white house. The staff are a real tonic. Love this place"
