one of my Moat-Pubs in stortford .. away from large quantities for more of a relaxed less loud environment ... juvenile workers ... the best part of the pubs is its game of shuffleboard to have a game with their m8s while enjoying a cold pint. great location on the high street nice staff perfect entertainment with many led tw’s offering Sky sports football etc View all feedback.

"A most enjoyable way to celebrate my husband's birthday, accompanied by a friend. We chose the six course tasting menu with paired wines. The food was exceptional and the wines well selected. Opting for the paired wines allowed a better match of wine to each...course, benefitting from the expert advice on hand and offered the opportunity to sample wines that we would not otherwise have chosen. Of particular interest in this set of pairings was a very good rosé and a red desert wine that was a delight. We were also steered towards an excellent port to accompany the cheese course. Once again, Jahdre produced dishes for each course which were innovative and attractively presented and we all agreed that the meal was up to his excellent standard! All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening."
