"This place used to be really good. I would highly recommend it as a must go but now it is just ok. I noticed some items had increased in price while portions were reduced and other items have had changes however not for the better. Example: the philly cheese steak for years was the best.... claimed fresh baked bread, and stuffed with steak, choice of optional cheese, optional fresh toppings. Two sizes to choose from. I would get a full size and eat half, be stuffed and save half for another time. Now it is one size, trucked in bread, cheese is the same, but the steak is barely noticeable. To call it a Philly cheese steak now is insulting. At this rate it will just be another restaurant that my friends and I will say remember when that place used to be good while heading to another establishment."

"The service and eating were great! the shepard’s pie was excellent. the maisbeef was slim, plentiful and excellent. the flesh dew was good, but a bit sharp for my 85 year old mother. Do not miss the creamy cauliflower or the sweet potato frits!"

"We are regulars at Pirogue Grill and love the atmosphere and food. We tried to make reservations for tonight, and the lady taking reservations over the phone said they could do 5pm booked up), which I said would be perfectly fine, since my wife likes to eat early anyway. She kept asking whether we would make 5pm, since there was a 7pm scheduled for that table, and I replied that it would work. For some reason she started to get angry with me. I guess she must have not understood me or thought I was insincere. ?? She said we couldn 't have the reservation, over my requests of Maam, I believe there 's been some misunderstanding.. , and then she cut me off in mid conversation and hung up on me! I 'm utterly shocked and saddened that such an elegant and favorite place of ours would do that to somebody. Good bye, Pirogue Grill. :"
