Fantastic afternoon at The Mermaid Bar with family. The Tasting Bar was such great value and experience where we were talked through the process of their distillery for each spirit. All staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent as were the yummy cocktails banana rumba being our favourite special! You can also buy merchandise and they have a lovely collection. read more.

Booked the day before for 7pm. Arrived at 7 at was seated. We were given the menu and were deciding what to drink and eat and eventually a member of staff came over about 7.20 and told us the kitchen closed at 7.30! We ordered and our meal arrived, which was ok but we were not able to order dessert as the kitchen was closed!!! Why were we not told to order desert with our main meal???
