Booked in here to eat whilst in the area. Was expecting a busy place on a Saturday evening but it seemed quiet (which I preferred) . As soon as you walk in you come across a deli counter which was really quirky! it was nice...to see lots of fresh cheeses and food available that could be ordered and eaten with your meal. Went for a meal with friends, having looked at the menu online we were presented with something completely different apparently their website hasn’t been updated you should look on the Facebook page, food was good. View all feedback.
Very enterprising pub and deli at the centre of the nice village of Kirby Muxloe
Went here for a couple of drinks while we stayed at the hotel down the road. The pub also has a bakery/tea shop.
I highly recommend this pub. Suitable for both families and cheerful groups, you can also buy food and baked goods from local farmers inside, which is very good. The food portions were more than enough to satisfy an adult. Everything was prepared very well and tasty!
Breakfast with Santa was good and wholesome family fun, plenty of food included, and plenty of variety for different tastes. The downsides were that the waffles seemed burnt, the crumpets were overcooked and Santa barely came by to see us.
Great little pub, deli section with variety of savouries.good atmosphere and reasonable prices.
