"Usually great. Not today.I ordered a coffee, among other things, and they never brought it out to the curb side.Like 20min went by so I ordered another one. Got that one but they didn’t bring anything to stir the coffee with. Also, usually they put the sweeteners in.I’m moving so I didn’t have any spoons or utensils.I went in and they offer a refund or something else for the first coffee I never got. So that problem was resolved.Once I left and was on the road, I’m about to eat my chicken sandwich, which I ordered with double pickles, and it didn’t have any.I left 4 stars cause they resolved the first problem and I’m sure they’d have resolved the other one."

"It might not look amazing inside, but don't let that fool you- this is probably the best Chinese restaurant in Madison. The food is actually incredible, if I was served this food at a five star restaurant I'd be satisfied. It's on the expensive side for takeout but it's definitely worth it for this quality of food imo, plus the portions are pretty big. The food has a lot of flavor and is very fresh, it's also not too greasy which is great. My favorite dish here is the tomato, egg and beef noodles and obviously they're well-known for having good noodles, but even the non-noodle dishes I've had were really good. I love the eggplant and tofu dish, it's amazing. You definitely need to try this place if you haven't, you won't be disappointed."

"Food was great, people were nice, beer was ever flowing. This place is the cats meow. The ONLY draw back is the wait. This place is basically Ishnala on Fridays. We got to the restaurant promptly at 445pm but apparently that was too late as the wait was 2 hours long. We had a party of 6 originally, but due to the wait, 4 folks decided to go elsewhere. My partner and I stuck it out (which was still a 2 hour way) and boy was it worth it. During the wait we had 2 drinks served by excellent bartenders and played darts at the 'arcade ' area around the corner. Time went by fast and we were called to our table. We were sat in a wooden booth that has definitely been around for a while given it 's size and wear. The server came over promptly and we ordered the munster cheese curds, a friday fish fry, and the Rahmschnitzel. The curds were delivered shortly along with fresh popovers which were DIVINE. Could be because were so hungry, but honestly, I think they were just amazing. Piping hot, melty, and delicious. Our Entrees were equally good. I judge my fish fry on fish, coleslaw, and tartar sauce and each of these pieces were fantastic. Fish was not fishy, breading was crisp with moist fish on the inside. Coleslaw was creamy with a hint of vinegar/acid, and the tar tar sauce was classic. The Rahmschnitzel was also crispy, the spatzle was perfectly chewy, and overall just was a dang good meal. Once more, the only thing about this place that is a tough sell is the wait and the fact that they do NOT take reservations on Friday. Otherwise, the cute ambiance (very german), service, and food is definitely worth it. Happy Friday Fish Frys."
