What User likes about The Bakehouse:
We buy our bread here regularly, and love the multigrain lunch buns. Also, pies, cakes. There's great coffee as well. The bakehouse is in the same building as a good fresh vege shop (bulk Honey and oil, bring your own jar) with a wide seof local produce. There's a small outside area to enjoy your cuppa, and you can try to get a seat on the very interesting"street seating", at the corner of two streets in Cooroy. It's... read more.

Few places have spelt and this one does it well - unfortunately only one a day so need to ring ahead to get it. As before, keep saying it is in Cooroy, not Kuranda. read more.

"We were having a drink in Noosaville and decided to ring for a take away on our way back.I just had a message inviting you to make a booking,nothing else.So we went there to give our order.The manager said,as a lame excuse,that he was too busy to answer.They were 3 customers in the place and the chef was officiating in the kitchen.Nevertheless,wee placed an order for some lamb seekh kabab and a chicken vindaloo.The kabab was very nice,but the vindaloo was awful,small,greasy as well as it contained somme potatoes to make "volume".We will never order anything there again.Although it was an excellent cuisine 2 tears ago,one of the best we ever had.Don't waste your time and money in this so called indian restaurant only by name!"

"The food and service was very good quality, until the very end. My friend and I wanted to split the bill in half. We were advised by a friendly young waitress that it costs $5 extra to split the bill. I questioned this and the...boss came over, made a joke of the situation, without answering the question. He just added the cost, laughed it off and told us it wasn't expensive anyway. I would have given the restaurant a much higher rating if it wasn't for the behaviour right at the end. Which put a very sour taste to an otherwise lovely evening. I will not be returning."
