My partner ordered fish and chips and he enjoyed it, although the chips were not fresh. We ended our meal with apple cake and ice cream, both of which were delicious. The service was good, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Although our experience today wasn't perfect, it wouldn't deter us from returning in the future. If I find myself in Blackness again, I would recommend giving The Lobster Pot a try.
This cozy little restaurant has friendly and polite staff. The food was fantastic and the portions were generous, so I didn't have room for dessert. The spacious and unique interior makes it a worthwhile place to visit. I enjoyed the diverse crowd of young people, families, and older individuals. The staff was efficient and attentive, ensuring I had a great experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and appreciate their honesty and hospitality.
It is a very nice place to have some rest after visiting the nearby blackness burg. the star is very joyful, after living in the sea ufer. the personal is very friendly. regarding the meal times, we only tried the sweet part of the menu and enjoyed it.
Absolute gem of a place! We were looking for a dog friendly date night and hubby found this on a dog friendly recommendation site. Located in the picturesque hamlet of Blackness, at first the restaurant seems a bit kitch and bright, but what quickly shines through is the owner's (and the staff's) good sense of humour and talent (every inch of the walls and ceilings are adorned with paintings [the chef informed me all painted by the owner] and knick knacks. If you look a little closer there are tongue in cheek pictures and signs Dog's welcome, seats to the right, cat's to the left beautiful paintings and general warmness and myrth. Dog was greeted with a treat and a friendly clap. The food was devine. Hubby had haggis bon bons to start, I had the lobster and chips for main, hubby had the fish and chips. Every morsel was gorgeous. We had desert and I can highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding although you may need a lie down after it as it is huge. All of the staff were really friendly, the 2 waitresses were lovely as was the chef. All of the other patrons waxed lyrical about their food and the lady on the next table enthused that the lobster thermidor was the absolute best she had ever had. Afterwards we took a stroll around the pier, and took in the beautiful and atmospheric views. I can't wait to go back.
