"Blind as a bat when it comes to burmese food, i ventured here with an open mind. What drove me here was their fish soup with rice noodles. I miss tio chiu style clear fish (fillet) soup. I know, i know, burmese and tio chiu cuisines are hardly similar . Dan bauk chicken with rice cooked in spices 4/5, came with drumstick n thigh which was tender and throughly spiced. Berry nice. Ditto the spiced rice. The accompanying condiments didnt disappoint either (see pic). Fish soup with rice noodles 3.25/5 was a bit of a let down. There was no discernible fish in sight.. tasted good nevertheless. Homely polite service, seemed to thrive on pre-ordered takeaways as well with the burmese...read more"

"Had the Crab Omelette and Crab Rice Burger. Presentation was IGrific. Taste was delicious, especially the sauces which was interesting and really added to the dish. Coffee was smooth (flat white) and not too bitter (picolo). Friendly wait staff. Lost one star because the cafe had an overwhelming smell of oil. Our clothes were drenched in the stale oil smell that you would expect from spending too long in a dark and dank fish and chip shop. Hope they would consider upgrading their exhaust fan or outdoor seating."
