"Love this picturesque casual restaurant with a local Texas feeling in the heart of the beautiful little town blanco. apparently it is a busy and popular restaurant that judges from the crowds of people there and why would they not be popular? they have live music, great service and eat! it's a winning combination in my book. it is on the Blanco Square so that they are going to lunch and buy in the cute shops. we had sandwiches with wonderful homemade broths. I enjoyed her great Cesar salad with huh. we sat on the veranda terrace as it was a beautiful day. the staff is super friendly and helpful. So if they're in blanco, they'll try."

"First of all, I have to admit I am a bourbon nerd. I love learning everything I can about my favorite beverage, so my glowing review is probably heavily influenced by me geeking out during my trip here.I was welcomed warmly. Our tour guide was tons of fun with plenty of sarcastic humor (which I loved). No one got mad at me for asking 90% of the questions on the tour. We heard from an employee at each stop of the tour, got to sample some white dog and some of the Small Batch bourbon. The gift shop had lots of goodies and my old fashioned was nice.So, again, I love bourbon so I'm absolutely a biased observer, but I had a great time."

"5 of us stopped here for dinner. 2 ordered the ribeye and brussel sprouts and they both enjoyed their meal. However, the rest of us were disappointed with ours. My husband ordered the pork chop. While well seasoned, I thought it was very chewy. But thebiggest disappointment was our chicken entree. On the menu, there was a Half smoked chicken for $19. The waitress told usright away that they didn 't have that but the substitution was another chicken. Since my sister and I don 't eat pork or beef,we decided to share the chicken dish since it was half chicken . As you can see from the pic, we received a very small quarterchicken!! Just a drumstick and thigh. No breast, no wing. Definitely not big enough to really share ???? And, the price of thisother chicken was $27. I won 't be coming back."

"I ordered corn nuggets and fried okra. They didn't repeat the orders back I got to the window and it was fries and okra. When they finally got the order correct the okra was overcooked. It was so crunchy it hurt my gums and roof of my mouth. Dogs enjoyed it. The napkin was on top of the okra inside the box. Who wants a greasy napkin? Service: Take out"
