"Finally made it over to Gramado's and wish we'd gone sooner! The food is excellent and the service warm and welcoming. <br/ <br/ Must comment on the black beans and rice. I've had this prosaic sounding, but addictively delicious dish in restaurants around the world. When done perfectly as it is here it's not only addictively delicious, but lets you know that there's a master hand in the kitchen."

"The best Chinese restaurant in Blenheim. I love the food here. The staff are amazing, specially John and Amy who looks after me well in every visit. The ambience just right, feels pleasant and relaxing. My personal favourites I would recommend to try for lunch are Wonton Soup, Cantonese Duck, Steamed Fish, Beef Ho Fan, Claypot Ginger Chicken and Hainan Ginger Chicken."

"That is by far the best restaurant in blenheim. it serves proper Italian eating (one of these pizza junket), has great service and a great atmosphere. we have eaten here several times in the last months, and while the decor could be original, eating and service is always excellent. they even managed to fit us on a busy Saturday evening without booking. blenheim is a small town with few good restaurants, but this is one of the best is better than most places they would find in a larger city."

"Wine tasting is $5 per head. You get to try 3 wines of your choice. Although they waive the charge if you buy a bottle. Sophie is a wine connoisseur!! She explained each wine to us in detail; also has a very bubbly personality. She didn't sound like a trainee at all! The oysters were good too. Food is bit on the pricey side but you get to enjoy a lovely atmosphere and views."

"So we had my mother in-laws surprise 60th birthday at Waiau River Wines last weekend. The venue was awesome and the outdoor seating was great as it was a nice day. The food was also really good and everyone enjoyed it(the seafood chowder and chicken noodle salad were a hit). Lastly and most importantly, the staff were great and made for an awesome outing for me and my family. Would recommend Wairau River Wines to everyone"
