"Not in the position to deposit the required guarantee with our credit card that we wrote and explained the problem. shortly afterwards we received a message that confirmed our reservation. super! we have not informed about the strong Japanese influence in the kitchen, but left everything. the excellent service staff and the chefs. and, young, what an event! an unforgettable experience for palate, eyes and nose with an excellent selection of weeps for a very happy couple."

"To eat at au rendez-vous des pêcheurs is, in itself, a little journey through modern, yet traditional french cuisine. chef christophe is an entertaining and talkative host, well in line with what you would expect from a michelin-star restaurant (which the restaurant has to...my surprise not). we had lunch and picked a three course meal (le menu d'inspiration) that, in the end, consisted of incredibly addictive cheese puffs, a choice of house-baked bread rolls with loire fish rillettes, a sweet potato creme with marinated salmon, langustino in a zucchini blossom with assorted vegetables, mushroom-stuffed cod in a bean leaf with fresh beans and, to top it all off, a raspberry tarte. we had a coffee afterwards and were surprised by an assortment of cookies and little buiscuits. the facts? each component of each dish was cooked perfectly, the cook played the spices just right (i ALWAYS need salt or pepper; not today though), everything was truly delicious and the three courses more than enough to defeat our appetite. the ambience of le rendez-vous manages to walk the line between michelin-star-worthy restaurant and its namesake, the meeting-point for loire fishermen graciously and any other point of view on this platform is highly encouraged to return to chef christophe's place and re-evaluate their position. well done, au rendez-vous des pêcheurs!"
