What do you look for in a cider mill? Donuts? Of course preferably warm and just baked. Apples to purchase and take home? Sure in season, I look for good pie and sauce apples. Can find them here. it's cider mill season in michigan!! Franklin seemed like a great close place to try. I like how dog friendly the place is. There were tons of leashed dogs out. The tents had a plethora of items to buy outside of cider. Most being pretty good. The cons.... The donuts are horrible. Chewy, only offered in plain and just not good even warm.
