"Helping son move in for senior year at IU. Always go to Jankoâs when Iâm Bloomington. THE BEST FOOD. The lamb chops are to die for and if you donât want steak the grilled chicken breast is amazingly moist and delicious. So my son always gets steak and I always get lamb chops and hubby gets chicken. This time he tried the beef barley soup and gave me some. It was truly THE BEST beef barley soup I have ever had. I love this place. Laura was our waitress and she was amazingly awesome even though she was super busy and the place was packed. When she heard I (and my sonâs friend) wanted lamb chops she immediately ran back and put our order in as they were running low (it was after 8 pm). Lucky us!"

"The Runcible spoon is a Bloomington staple. Very cozy inside and a nice coffee menu as well. The food is good but the atmosphere is really the reason people come to Runcible spoon. I have had the ham steak before which is good if you like ham. The corned beef hash was not what I was expecting. I imagined a bed of potatoes with pieces of corned beef but it was more like a potato pancake with shredded corned beef in it. The salmon hash was good but had a bit too much dill on it. We ordered a side of potatoes and our server suggested we added veggies and cheese to it so we did. It was a bit too much in my opinion, turning into to more spinach and broccoli rather than potatoes, I guess I was expecting peppers and onions when she mentioned vegetables. This place gets busy so make sure you are prepared to wait!"

"This was my family’s first time visiting Lennys in Bloomington. We came for parents weekend to visit my son and his friends and had a great experience for lunch. Most of us enjoyed the Stromboli’s. The salad was great and the meatballs were phenomenal! I highly recommend."

"Went to Ramen place for lunch and saw everyone going to this place. Went for dinner. Was craving Italian style pizza. Pizza was so so good. And then the salad surprised us. I think we enjoyed the salad more than the pizza. Will definitely come back to this restaurant when we come back to visit IU again."

"Being a good son to his non meat eating mother, our son chose this place for Sunday brunch when we came down to visit. It is a small and kind of dark shop off of the main square in downtown Bloomington that specializes in vegan and vegetarian food. Parking is simply the available street parking, which is free I believe on Sundays. We probably arrived around 11:00 and got one of several tables in the dining area, although it filled up rather quickly after that. My wife ordered the Huevos Rancheros $13 2 eggs, black beans, pico de gallo, home fries), as that's sort of her thing. She enjoyed it. My son went with the Chicken Fried Steak $15 breaded tempeh, black pepper cashew gravy, home fries) and added 2 eggs $2). He is a meat eater, so I don't know that he loved it, but he did eat it. I went with the Southwest Skillet $13 bell peppers, jalapeños, onions, home fries, and 2 eggs). It was good, although to be honest I wasn't overly filled after eating it. Overall, it was good. I felt it was a little expensive for what you get, but that seems to be most places anymore. Not a place to take a carnivore."
