"The food is very good and the service is okay but it’s pricey and it’s always freezing cold in there. It’s so cold I couldn’t even enjoy my meal. I wish they’d turn the heat on and I would be a regular customer."

"Had a delicious brunch by myself yesterday, at the suggestion of the guys from Time&Tide down the street. It's cute and has a great menu! I enjoyed The Smoked Salmon Hash, with a glass of Seeker Riesling for lunch. It was a nice filling portion, and hit the spot! I really can't wait to go back, and next time plan on bringing my husband. I highly recommend trying it out, and give it two thumbs way up!"

"I can't speak highly enough of the staff at Big Woods Bloomington. They are respectful, friendly, and have consistently gone out of their way for me. It took a few weeks for the cook staff to work out their new menu, but the food is now better than ever. It's flavorful, well-portioned and service is quick, even when the restaurant is packed. Also, the Beer Garden is a great place to kick back with a beer (and play some Jenga). I particularly reccomend the Hoosier Tenderloin Sandwhich, and their Pumpkin Ale beer."

"No malty brews were found at Upland. I didn't care, I like IPAs, but some people in our group of 20 didn't like it. Yes, they were able to accommodate a group of 20 after an IU football game.The food was okay. I keep trying to find something that is in the amazing category at Upland. I don't. The beer is good. If they'd update the food offerings to have the taste and quality match the prices, it'd be better."

"An incredible restaurant one of my favorites for years! The yellow curry with tofu is vegan as are several of the Tibetan dumplings. Noodle dishes can be veganized as well and the lentil soup and salad are yummy!!"
