I've been dining at each location in the Bloomington-Normal area for yearsand lately have been, sorry to say it.extremely disappointed.
The wife, nephew and I went here last night after having a lot of beer and watching SNL.

"Food is good, service was sort of lacking. Took awhile to get the check, had to finally get up to get it because they were too busy talking to other workers. I gave it 4 stars mostly because of the memories of going there when I was a kid. The old Parkview and old staff was much better. The old building while it was run down was more inviting as well. I don't like the big open space it is now. I also miss the old mural that was painted on the wall in the main dining room."

"For the longest time I have loved this place. Their food is delicious and staff has been friendly. Unfortunately, after our experience today, we will not be coming back to Puran. Tuesday, April 16th, my mom placed an order of Butter chicken, rice, and garlic Nann. While eating she felt a sharp pain in her tongue and the food started crunching in her teeth, only to find that a shard of white glass was in her food and cut her tongue! We called Puran immediately after it happened asking to speak with a manager and let them know what had happened with the glass. The person who answered hung up immediately and never called back. I'm so disappointed in the complete lack of professionalism, responsibility and apology from the establishment. We will not be returning and highly suggest you do the same."
