"This was my family’s first time visiting Lennys in Bloomington. We came for parents weekend to visit my son and his friends and had a great experience for lunch. Most of us enjoyed the Stromboli’s. The salad was great and the meatballs were phenomenal! I highly recommend."

"Went to Ramen place for lunch and saw everyone going to this place. Went for dinner. Was craving Italian style pizza. Pizza was so so good. And then the salad surprised us. I think we enjoyed the salad more than the pizza. Will definitely come back to this restaurant when we come back to visit IU again."

"Being a good son to his non meat eating mother, our son chose this place for Sunday brunch when we came down to visit. It is a small and kind of dark shop off of the main square in downtown Bloomington that specializes in vegan and vegetarian food. Parking is simply the available street parking, which is free I believe on Sundays. We probably arrived around 11:00 and got one of several tables in the dining area, although it filled up rather quickly after that. My wife ordered the Huevos Rancheros $13 2 eggs, black beans, pico de gallo, home fries), as that's sort of her thing. She enjoyed it. My son went with the Chicken Fried Steak $15 breaded tempeh, black pepper cashew gravy, home fries) and added 2 eggs $2). He is a meat eater, so I don't know that he loved it, but he did eat it. I went with the Southwest Skillet $13 bell peppers, jalapeños, onions, home fries, and 2 eggs). It was good, although to be honest I wasn't overly filled after eating it. Overall, it was good. I felt it was a little expensive for what you get, but that seems to be most places anymore. Not a place to take a carnivore."

"We've been going to Cardinal Spirits since they opened- this is the first time we've been back since the pandemic.Service was extremely slow, we ordered the bread service (I think they went Kroger and got five slices of bread), butter and some jelly. Jelly was so tart it was almost inedible. We waited almost 20 min for the bread.They were out of pumpkin pancakes so had the classic and French toast. The food was ridiculously overpriced. The 20% auto-gratuity pushed it over the edge- if we'd had good service, I'd be more than happy to give more than that- we've already decided we won't be going back."
