We made a reservation for two during the week, but the restaurant was not very busy. They had a great selection of mid-priced wines, and I was able to enjoy a Pio Cesare Dolcetto at a very reasonable price. We started with two appetizers - the calamari was good but nothing out of the ordinary, while the fried stuffed zucchini flowers were delicious. What I Mix doesn't like about Dolce Vita:
Rudest owners we?ve ever experienced! Had the food been halfway decent, it might be excusable but they have nothing to back up their nasty, arrogant attitude. Mediocre food, horribly presented, way overpriced (we don?t mind paying top dollar for great food), and not worth it. There is no love or passion for food in this place. If you dare to complain, the owner will cuss you out or want to fight you! Seriously! Save... View all feedback.
Wonderful family owned restaurant with amazing food!! The owner Arlene was so sweet and made sure to catch us at the door to tell us goodnight and she hoped we'd be back....we will definitely be back! There are many Italian restaurants in the area but this was real, fresh Italian food and some of the best I've had outside of Italy.
Had a great dinner. I loved the homemade sausage and rigatoni. That was a really nice touch. I'm not sure about the limoncello, though. That was nothing like I expected. Could just be me? I'll definitely go back there next time I'm in Bluffton.
My husband, his brother, and I finally got around to writing this review after dining at this restaurant. It came highly recommended by a local restaurant owner, and we were not disappointed. It is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Bluffton, and I say that with confidence, as we have another favorite spot in the area. The food was amazing, the wine selection superb, and the cannolis were absolutely delicious. Despite being stuffed from our meal, we still made room for these delectable treats. We will definitely be returning, and our out-of-town guest was also impressed by the experience.
I dined with my parents last night and from the moment we walked in, the owners made us feel welcome. Our server, Chad, was fantastic. The food and wine were delicious, and we cannot forget to mention the incredible Limoncello Cake. We will definitely be returning!

We started with two appetizers - the calamari was good but nothing out of the ordinary, while the fried stuffed zucchini flowers were delicious. For our main courses, we both opted for pasta dishes with seafood in different sauces, and they were both excellent. The service was fantastic, and the prices were very fair. The tiramisu for dessert was outstanding.
