River Lodge Grill - Boardman

Beautiful place. Restaraunt wad understaffed but friendly. The view and river access are unbeatable. I wish someone there rented boats!

Drinks were good but took over an hour to get our food and food was brought out for only one other table in that hour. The bread sticks were horrible, very doughy and greasy (almost wet like) with no flavor at all . The steak my girlfriend ordered sat in the window for 10 minutes (because our server was waiting on the other plate so that 's not her fault) before ours was brought. Steak ended up being way over cooked and the spaghetti sauce was literally just tomato sauce with no seasoning. Our server(Lisa F) was great, very friendly and could tell she was trying to make the experience the best she could . Unfortunately we won 't be returning as we did not enjoy the overall experience.

Excellent view of the river, comfortable room and bed, lots of hot water, restaurant has very tasty and filling food. You have tontry the breakfast sausage! Will be back!

The price is for the room only.. No free breakfast, a very NOT trucker friendly stop there is NO turn around.

I stay with the River Lodge every month. I enjoy my stay every visit. The rooms are clean, the service is top notch and the food is great!
