"A new pizza place close to the locks. You can eat in or take out. If you eat in they still give you the pizza in boxes but do provide plates and cutlery. You could eat inside or outside. The crust had cornmeal on it and was the best part of the pizza (for me). The salads were freshly made and delicious. The restaurant and washrooms were new clean and well maintained. The only thing missing was a beer as they are not licensed. But we had one when we got back to the boat. Would definitely recommend."

"I wasn't sure what to expect but this little dinner was just fine. There were two young woman working the morning shift and they were friendly and courteous. The dinner was clean and simple. There lunch special looks looked like they cater to the school...crowd. Our home-fries, sausage and eggs, coffee and rye toast came quickly and was quite good. The prices were very reasonable. Yes I would recommend this restaurant."

"New to town so my husband and I decided to try this place out. Great spot right alongside the locks. Patio was packed. Menu was very small. I had planned on getting a steak but they didn't offer any. Decided on the Caesar salad with shrimp. It was 14.95 for the salad and 4.50 for the shrimp. Salad was terrible for the price. They advertised a home made dressing. The salad was very soggy like it had been sitting made for quite some time. There was black lettuce all through it. I set that aside on a side plate as I was eating it. The dressing was not tasty at all. Just tasted like watered down Caesar dressing from a bottle. There was next to no bacon in it. I did however find a few bacon bits in the bottom. There were 3 shrimp in the salad. They were actually really good. My thoughts on this salad are that I understand a restaurant is in business to make money but if you are going to serve a soggy bowl of lettuce with 3 shrimp for almost twenty bucks we will just go somewhere else for a night out. My husband ordered the seafood pasta. It was tasty. Small portion for a man but he said it was good. The garlic bread wasn't what you would expect. Looked like two tiny triangles of pita bread toasted. All in all I have to say I did express my dislike for my entree and they took the salad off of our bill. Because of they way the waitress handled it we will return for another meal and try something else. I'm sure by the amount of people dining there must be many other tasty dishes to try."

"Used to visit this establishment when it was owned or managed by others previously i beleive about 4 years aho, and the FISH CHIPS was wonderful, as were the breaded shrimps and service. Visited today (Sat Sept 9th 2023) and the place looks great, service was fine, though slowish, as it was busy, we were inundated by wasps as were others. There was no shrimp on the menu any lknger which was disappointing, and the FISH CHIPS (Haddock) were horrible, overcooked and tastless...could've hammered a nail in with the batter it was so hard. I am not saying this is always the case, but today it was...and it was super disappointing.Walkability: Close to the main drag"

"The worst Tim's! 30 minutes to get through the drive-through and it wasn't busy. Used to stop on the way to, and from, the cottage, but they rarely have the pastries. Surely, they have tools to predict demand.Now we go a little out of our way to the Excellent Tim's in Lakefield."
