What Maude Smile doesn't like about Mcdonald's:
Awful experience at the drive thru. The only time someone talked to me during the process was when they were taking my order. They were asking me at every item if my order was complete. Rude staff. Lady at the first window didn 't even glanced at me, just gave me the payment machine without saying anything AT ALL and closed the window. "Everything was terrible, excluding the general tao chicken. The springrolls were decent as well, but the dipping sauce was putrid. It was extremely liquidy and tasted like sewage water (I am not kidding). I spit out my food 2 times, that's how bad this restaurant is. The chicken in most of the dishes was disgusting and had a terrible taste, definitely not fresh. The beef was chewy and inedible. The peanut butter dumplings had an odd taste as well. Everything eaten at this restaurant was just off. Never again will I step in there again, and I beg all of you to not go here. Save your money and go elsewhere."

"We stopped by Café Perko on Villeray for an afternoon coffee on a Monday in August. Café Perko prides itself on being a place where people (students and others) can stop by and work. When we were there, several people were taking the café up on this offer, with at least one table of four working (and discussing) together. Fear not, non-workers are welcome too. Café Perko offers the standard coffee and tea products, as well as food. Our visit was pleasant; the service was fine; the caffe lattes were good."
