this is one of my favorite restaurants in boise. eating is amazing and the place has a really gentle atmosphere. last time we garnish the silent majority, Pete?s lamm hacks, re-elect ravioli, crème brûlée and the sorbet. the whole meal was amazing, but the garnels was an absolute stand out. am I not? usually go out of my way to recommend a court, but the silent majority garneling was amazing! What Omer Rowe doesn't like about Capitol Cellars:
The food is mediocre. $24 for a sea bass, some bland rice and 8 green beans. My waitress was ok. I order a soup and salad for me, I said I will have a soup and salad, and she took off and didn't take my wife's appetizer order. When she came back I had to say that was just for me, my wife needs to order. She left and brought out our salad and didn't ask what we had wanted to order for our main course. When she brought... Had a wonderful dinner here with friends. Wine list was impressive
Amazing food, service and such a unique atmosphere. Staff was welcoming, helpful attentive. Food was phenomenal. Brussel sprouts are a must try!! Will definitely be back
First, the noise level was ridiculous. I'm not old or noise sensitive, but none of my party could hear each other. It was like a loud bar scene, but in what appeared to be a fine restaurant. Drinks were not good at all, I sent the first one back because they forgot some of the ingredients, known because all the adults at my table ordered the same drink. The second one came and tasted so bad I couldn't drink it. The service was horrible, and after waiting an hour for our food only to be told there were several tables still ahead of us waiting for food, we decided to leave. Paid for the drinks, tipped the waitress plenty, and she still gave me grief and rudeness as we left. I've never had such a bad experience at a restaurant
Our Brunch was wonderful! The food and **** Mary's we're delicious. Service was spot on. They recently opened their patio and it's charming. Will be back soon
A bit of a rough start as we had an awkward table in the front surrounded by loud groups. Slow start to service but everything uphill from there. We were served in courses timing was excellent. The food was even better. This was the best meal I’ve had in Boise or anywhere in a long time. We had the Burrata, spring salad, steak special, mushroom ravioli and creme brûlée. Wine list was excellent too moved from BrutPinot Noir Port. Really excellent experience. I highly recommend
